Harris Tries to Rally Dems, Leaves Them Even More Hopeless

Kamala Harris, fresh off her disastrous campaign, tried to rally her supporters in a livestream on Tuesday—and it went about as well as her election results. Joined by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris delivered a vague, uninspired message thanking donors and volunteers for their efforts. Instead of uplifting her base, however, she left them feeling more defeated than ever.

“We still have a lot to fight for,” Harris declared. But judging by the comments flooding the livestream, her audience wasn’t buying it. “Feeling even more defeated,” one viewer typed, while another bluntly asked, “Why did they even call this?” The bitterest comment read, “You could have saved my hope and sent a thank you text. Geez, you people beg me for my time, my money, my hope… I am gobsmacked at the thoughtlessness.”

Harris’ speech, clocking in at just ten minutes, was little more than a rehash of her concession message. No action plan, no rallying cry—just platitudes and an awkward attempt to joke about favors called in during the campaign. “You called in favors,” Harris said, adding, “Hey, I showed up at your softball game, now I need you to show up at the campaign office.” That line didn’t exactly inspire confidence.

Some supporters clung to wild conspiracy theories, claiming Harris was speaking in code and hinting that Trump’s victory could somehow still be overturned. “Kamala, I absolutely still see you taking office on 1/20,” one comment read, while another screamed in all caps, “WE CAN’T HAVE ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF TRUMP!!! TAKE HIM DOWN NOW!!!!!” Others blamed Elon Musk, swing-state voters, or Trump himself for the Democrats’ humiliating defeat.

This livestream disaster sums up everything wrong with today’s Democratic Party: empty words, no leadership, and a base fueled by denial and conspiracy theories. Harris’ supporters expected inspiration and direction but were met with defeatism and confusion.

Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to deliver on the promises that resonated with the American people: securing the border, strengthening the economy, and restoring law and order. Democrats, instead of reflecting on their failures, are content to blame Musk, Trump, or whatever boogeyman is trending on Twitter. But the truth is simple—Americans rejected their failed policies and out-of-touch candidates.

If Harris’ livestream is any indication, the Democrats’ plan for the next four years is to wallow in despair while Trump gets to work making America great again.
