Tulsi Gabbard, a former congresswoman from Hawaii, has left the Democratic party.
Gabbard criticized left-leaning politicians on Tuesday, saying she could no longer back a group that “racializes every topic & stokes anti-white bigotry.”
Gabbard urged additional party members to defect as well.
On Twitter, Gabbard stated, “I can no longer stay in today’s Dem Party that is now totally controlled by an aristocratic gang of warmongers motivated by cowardly wokeness.”
“Who openly strive to undermine our God-given rights by racializing every subject and stoking anti-white prejudice,” she continued.
They “are antagonistic to people of faith and spirituality, denigrate the police and shield criminals at the cost of law-abiding citizens, support open borders, weaponize our national security apparatus to go after political rivals, and above all, pushing us ever closer to nuclear Armageddon,” Gabbard added.
“I trust in a government that is composed of, by, and for the people. Sadly, the Dem Party of today doesn’t. Instead, it symbolizes a government run by, for, and by the ultra rich.” She continued, “I’m asking my fellow logical thinking, independent-minded Dems to stand with me.”
In her statement, Gabbard said, “If you can no longer tolerate the path that the so-called woke Dem. Party ideologues are driving our nation, I encourage you to join me.”
It is unclear which party Gabbard hopes to join as of this writing. or whether she’ll continue to be independent

Gabbard had a lot of issues with the party she has been a member of when she initially ran for a state legislature position in Hawaii.
She objected to the Democrats’ careless push for nuclear war with Russia and their contempt for the Second Amendment rights of Americans and their ability to practice their religion. She claimed that the Democrats are eliminating women by promoting their policy that males who identify as female do so genuinely, and by enticing parents to ‘confirm’ a child’s gender identity—even if that means using pills and procedures to sterilize them.
President Joe Biden and his liberal policies have long been criticized by Tulsi Gabbard. She has been vocal about the widespread censorship that big tech as well as other left-wing players are promoting.
