After announcing his decision to step out of his long-time role in government, Dr. Anthony Fauci has basically been on a press tour, making claims about his role in the pandemic intended to rewrite history.
Fauci had claimed that he has nothing to hide regarding the virus’ origins and that he was not responsible for any shutdowns – and now he’s even gone as far as to say that COVID lockdowns were not really that big of a deal because they have not “irreparably damaged anyone.”
Speaking with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, Fauci was asked by the host “do you regret that it went too far, whatever your original intentions were… particularly for kids who couldn’t go to school, except remotely, that it’s forever damaged them?”
Fauci then said “I don’t think it’s forever irreparably damaged anyone.”
He then added in a claim that he was trying to get kids back in school, “But I think, obviously, and you — if you go back — and people selectively, Neil, pull things out about me. I was also one of the people that said we have got to do everything we can to get the children back in school.”
But Fauci’s claims that the lockdowns did not cause long-term damage to people couldn’t be more false.
A fury of evidence has emerged as of late pointing to the fact that lockdowns and masking had majorly negative impacts, especially on children.
Experts have found in recent studies that as a result of these draconian government measures, children have developed things like clinical depression, speech issues, psychological trauma and severe learning impediments.
Apparently, however, these children are not “damaged” enough for Fauci to care about.
