Whether you love or detest Donald Trump is irrelevant. Every American should find it upsetting that our government is abusing the former president.
According to reports, during their search of Mar-a-Lago, FBI investigators discovered purportedly sensitive papers. To make the photo they took of the materials seem more ominous, they adhered “cover sheets” to the documents.
The cover sheets revealed the greatest levels of secrecy, and the media promptly followed suit, using the falsified evidence to criticize Trump.
“This is never over,” a horrified Glenn Beck declares.
The federal judge overseeing Trump’s prosecution for sensitive materials has now postponed the proceedings indefinitely.
Glenn continues, “That is at best propaganda. They have postponed the document trial because they said, “There are too many things here that do not line up; there are too many things the FBI did that they never did or should have ever dreamt of doing.”
Robert Malley, our ambassador to Iran, lost his top secret security clearance in the meantime. Whistleblowers claim that he downloaded sensitive papers to his personal mobile phone, sent them to his personal email account, and someone received them.
A hostile cyber actor was able to access those papers using his phone and email account and steal top secret data, according to current theories.
The seriousness of these accusations about our country’s security justifies prompt and forceful accountability. However, we have degraded his security clearance and are not taking any action against him, Glenn adds.
