Even Democrats Are BEGGING Joe Biden To Stop His Immigration Agenda

An “unprecedented” influx of illegal immigrants into the sanctuary city is prompting over 50 New York City Democrats to implore President Biden to issue a “state of emergency” as refugees pour onto Manhattan’s streets.

Since the spring of this past year, over 90,000 border crossers and illegal immigrants have entered New York City. 54 Democrats have written to President Biden requesting that he declare an emergency and give the city billions of dollars in federal funding to address the surge.

Similarly, the Democrats are pleading with Biden to permit border crossers and illegal immigrants to swiftly take over American employment rather than severely restricting illegal immigration along the southern border.

Democrats stated, “Our City has reached a breaking point.”

Democrats’ appeal comes as New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) has begun distributing flyers at the border to illegal immigrants and border crossers advising them not to enter the city and claiming there is a shortage of homes and services.

Due to migrant hotels’ capacity issues, which were contracted by Adams’ office to lodge fresh arrivals, border crossers including illegal immigrants started sleeping on Manhattan’s streets around the end of last week.

Residents of Queens, which included Bernard Chow, a mayoral candidate, created a tent city demonstration last week in opposition to Adams’ proposed plans for housing 1,000 male migrants at the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center.

One said, “Follow the money. The mayor has given us away to the highest bidder. Even the kind of round-the-clock protection they’ll offer is unknown to us.”

Another person said, “We have no idea who is coming in here.”

Breitbart News revealed last month that Adams has begun relocating border crossers and undocumented residents to other states and towns, a practice he has long criticized Texas Governor Gregg Abbott (R) for enacting as “anti-American.”

Since Adams assumed office, the number of border crossers and illegal aliens residing in shelters has surged by over 110 percent. According to Adams, New Yorkers would lose access to public services like library hours and senior food delivery in order to pay for subsidized newcomers.

According to Adams, illegal immigration has cost New Yorkers close to $8 million per day and will have spent over $4.2 billion by around the middle of next year.
