Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, has stated that the firm may share internal talks linked to the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop from hell tale in order to rebuild public faith.
Musk made the remark in response to a Twitter post from Alex Lorusso of Turning Point USA, a conservative campus group that was just reinstated on the platform.
“Raise your hand if you believe in the interest of transparency, @ElonMusk should make public the entire internal deliberations surrounding the decision to suppress the @NYPost’s report on Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election,” Lorusso said.
“This is required to reestablish public trust,” Musk responded.
Earlier in the day, Musk intimated that the public needs to “know the truth” about the scope of Twitter’s political censoring.
“The more I discover, the worse it gets. The world should be told the truth about what has been going on at Twitter,” Musk stated. “Transparency will gain the people’s trust.”
One of the most apparent examples of Silicon Valley’s meddling in the 2020 election on behalf of Dems. was the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop narrative by various tech platforms, including Twitter.

“Twitter suspended the Post’s account for 16 days following a blockbuster October 2020 piece outlining Hunter Biden’s international business ties and President Joe Biden’s awareness of them. Because the ban happened less than a month before the November election, Dorsey and Twitter were accused of meddling in the presidential election of 2020. In addition to that, the platform barred users from tweeting about the Post’s piece.”
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey later recognized that the platform’s decision to block the story was inappropriate. “We corrected that pretty instantly,” Dorsey added. “We should also have reactivated the account without requesting a tweet deletion.”
