DeSantis: ‘Florida Is Going to Be Doing the Opposite’

It has been said that you could take what Biden is doing, do the opposite, and make the country better. Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis actually said those words during a speech this week regarding increased vaccine mandates and COVID-19 regulations.

If the president was really following the science, he would see that the highest infection rate in the nation is still in California, one of the states with the most restrictions.

Florida, while higher than many states, remains lower per capita than California despite doing the total opposite in response to COVID.

There’s no way to know for sure, but it makes you wonder how much different the statistics would be over the past six months if there had been no restrictions or mandates nationwide? Would the numbers be higher, lower or about the same?

DeSantis has opted to focus on freedom rather than restrictions. It’s not just conservatives excited about the move. The state has grown in population more than nearly anywhere else in the nation. Companies, police officers, families and more are relocating for fewer limitations.

There’s a reasons DeSantis has been a rumored 2024 presidential candidate. It’s pretty simple. More freedom. Americans appreciate freedom above all else. In Florida at least, they have a leader who gets it. Check out the video for the full details.
