Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis (R) stated on Tuesday that he will petition the Florida Supreme Court to appoint a grand jury to investigate any “wrongdoing” related to Chinese coronavirus vaccines.
“Today, I’m filing a petition with the High Court of Florida to appoint a statewide grand jury to probe any and every wrongdoing in Florida with regard to the COVID-19 vaccinations,” DeSantis said during a roundtable meeting of the “Public Health Integrity Committee” on Tuesday.
The governor went on to say that they “expect to gain clearance for that.”
The grand jury would be charged with investigating concerns regarding mRNA injections and myocarditis, as well as holding vaccine producers responsible for any false representations about the immunizations.
Notably, public leaders, including President Biden, initially promoted the coronavirus vaccines as a way to get back to pre-pandemic normalcy, but they kept pushing masks on the American public for a long time following the vaccine deployment. Furthermore, some, like Biden, mistakenly stated that the immunizations would prevent one from catching or transmitting the virus. Neither of those assertions is correct.
“We’re not in a situation where we believe that any virus — including that of the Delta virus, which is considerably more transmissible and more lethal in terms of non — unvaccinated people — the vi- — the various vaccinations that individuals are receiving today cover that. They’re OK, and you’re fine. You are not going to have COVID if you receive these immunizations,” Biden declared on July 21, 2021.
The virus infected the quadruple-vaccinated president a year later.
Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo has continued to express worries about the mRNA injections in particular, and was temporarily banned on Twitter in Oct. after delivering the state’s new guidance, which advised against the mRNA shots for men that were under the age of 40. According to the recommendations, there was an 84% rise in “the relative frequency of cardiac-related death for males 18-39 years old within 28 days of mRNA immunization.”
DeSantis’ remark on Tuesday comes after his prior warning earlier in the month, in which he promised to “hold these manufacturers accountable.”
