During his visit to the T-Mobile Arena this week which is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, former President Trump met with a number of famous people and even a champion fighter from the UFC 290.
In advance of the main event, UFC President Dana White escorted Donald Trump to his seat as he high-fived supporters while he walked. After defeating Robert Whittaker during round 2, South African fighter Dricus Du Plessis was also captured on camera congratulating the previous leader.
Trump appeared in photos all night long with podcaster Joe Rogan, actor Mel Gibson, and even famous chef Guy Fieri, presenter of the Food Network show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” Trump is shown with celebrity chef Guy Fieri in a photo that has the title “Trump in Flavor Town,” which alludes to Fieri’s nick moniker as the “Mayor of Flavortown.”
The main event of International Fight Week, which started on July 3, is UFC 290. White spoke in support of Trump at the Republican National Conventions in 2016 and 2020, demonstrating their friendship. The former president frequently attends UFC fights, and his attendance at UFC 287 in April sparked a “USA!” cry. Trump attended a UFC fight at Madison Square Garden in NYC in 2019 while serving as president.
Trump gave a 40-minute address at Calvary Chapel in Las Vegas hours prior to the fight this week, warning about the course of the nation and telling President Biden that the “gloves are now off.”
“Three weeks ago, I never would have said this. I would not have said that. In reality, I was quite nice to him,” claimed Trump. “I was extremely friendly to him, but now that the gloves are off, we cannot be kind. The jar is already open. He’s absolutely tainted.”
Trump also referred to Biden as “corrupt” and “incompetent,” and said that under his administration, problems with immigration, crime, and the economy had become significantly worse. Trump asserted that the president had “taken millions of dollars from other nations like China,” perhaps alluding to recent allegations and the House probe into the Biden family’s international business connections.
Regarding calling former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “Crooked Hillary,” Trump stated, “I don’t enjoy doing the same phrase for two individuals. We describe Joe Biden as crooked due to the fact that he is by a factor of hundreds the most dishonest president in our nation’s history. He is a thief.”
Nevada was a close loss for President Trump in 2016 and 2020, but he has not given up on it for 2024.
