Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat from Kentucky, seems to be hoping that Sen. JD Vance’s (R-OH) family member would become pregnant from rape, so the Republican nominee for vice president would have to go through it.
Beshear reacted to presenter Mika Brzezinski’s comments at Tuesday’s Democratic National Convention (DNC) that people are “seeing the repercussions of the overturning of Roe.”
“And then, governor, you have Republicans and Republican candidates talking about nine-month abortions on the right.” Even so, do you understand what they’re arguing? Brzezinski asserted that half of the argument isn’t accurate.
In response, Beshear said, “It’s basically lying to people and using scare tactics.” Consider the hardships that some people have endured as a result of these laws. JD Vance refers to a rape-related pregnancy as “inconvenient.” Transportation is inconvenient. He murmured, “Make him endure this.”
The Trump War Room X account quickly criticized Beshear’s remarks on social media, labeling them as “disgusting.”
In addition, GOP strategist Andrew Surabian offered his opinions and included VP Kamala Harris, a 2024 presidential candidate, in the conversation.
“Andy Beshear called for the rape of a member of @JDVance’s family on national television after speaking on stage at Kamala’s DNC last night. Is Kamala Harris saying that she agrees with her surrogate? If she rejects this disgusting garbage, will the media question her? He penned:
Furthermore, Donald Trump Jr., the son of the former president, questioned, “WTF is up with Kamala Harris surrogate, @AndyBeshearKY???”
Former President Trump is campaigning against Harris, who selected radical leftist Gov. Tim Walz (Dem-MN) as her VP for the presidency in 2024.
After Ohioans decided to approve Issue 1 and “codify” the right to an abortion in the state Constitution, Vance lamented a defeat for the pro-life cause in November 2023, Breitbart News reported.
