Jasmine Crockett has once again showcased the breathtaking arrogance and ignorance that have become hallmarks of today’s radical left. In a recent rant against President Donald Trump’s decisive action in taking out Iranian nuclear facilities—a move clearly aimed at protecting American lives and interests—Congresswoman Crockett embarrassingly declared herself the supposed gatekeeper of America’s national defense.
In a video rapidly circulating among conservatives and patriots alike, Crockett proclaimed, with vulgar bravado no less, that she’s “the one that’s supposed to make the f***in decision” about military strikes on hostile foreign powers. This was met, predictably, with laughter and applause from the liberal peanut gallery. But for Americans who actually care about our safety, security, and constitutional governance, her shameless display was anything but amusing.

Let’s set the record straight: the Constitution explicitly designates the President as Commander-in-Chief, not Jasmine Crockett. While Congress undoubtedly has authority to declare war, the President retains the power—and the solemn responsibility—to carry out decisive military action in defense of our nation. Under President Trump’s leadership, America has reclaimed its strength and reputation on the global stage, and his swift, strategic strikes on Iran’s nuclear capabilities are precisely the reason Americans elected him.
Yet Crockett, who apparently sees herself as a constitutional scholar rather than a public servant, has the audacity to whine publicly about not being personally consulted. Does she genuinely believe that sensitive military decisions, which depend upon timely intelligence and rapid response, should be delayed to appease her inflated ego and partisan grandstanding?
Even more ludicrous was Crockett’s absurd claim that refraining from bombing Iran would somehow save taxpayers money. She lamented, in a hearing on Tuesday, “just dropping those few bombs in one day, that was the beginning of what is going to be a very long bill for us… maybe we could have saved the American people not only money, but the lives that are now at risk.”
This is naïveté bordering on dangerous incompetence. What’s costly is allowing a rogue regime, which openly chants “Death to America,” to attain nuclear weapons. What’s costly is showing weakness to our enemies, emboldening terrorist regimes to test and threaten our resolve. President Trump understands that American strength and decisive action are the best deterrents to war, and his swift strikes on Iran’s nuclear program serve exactly that purpose. Crockett’s misguided call for “consultation” is simply another leftist ploy to tie the hands of President Trump and halt the decisive action that protects American families.
But perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that Crockett’s own party recently rejected her bid to serve as ranking member of the House Oversight Committee. After receiving the fewest votes from fellow Democrats, she withdrew her candidacy, handing the position to Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA). Even her own colleagues recognize that Crockett lacks the judgment and seriousness required for meaningful leadership.
When Crockett accuses Trump supporters of being in a “cult,” she exposes the left’s elitist disdain for everyday Americans who stand proudly for their country. The only “cult” at play here is the cult of big-government liberalism, which worships bureaucratic delay and indecision, refuses to acknowledge the grave threats America faces, and obsesses over petty political theatrics instead of protecting American lives.
President Trump has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to an America First foreign policy: one that favors strength over weakness, action over appeasement. As Ronald Reagan famously said, “We maintain the peace through our strength; weakness only invites aggression.” Jasmine Crockett may seek applause from her radical base and career advancement through provocative soundbites, but true leadership requires courage, clarity, and unwavering dedication to America’s security. Thankfully, President Trump continues to deliver precisely that.
