College Students Triggered by American Flag in Shocking New Video

American college students are now triggered by the American flag featured in a shocking new video from Campus Reform.

Reporter Ophelia Jacobson interviewed students at the University of Texas in Austin to find out if they considered the American flag a symbol of oppression.

“A lot of things come to mind,” one student said. “First of all, war. Second, let me see, well, we’ve also taken a bit of land from Native Americans. That’s unfortunate too.”

Another student said, “This flag kind of reminds me of all the sins we’ve committed against others. It’s just a flag so I don’t have tons of you know thoughts.”

Still another responded, “Absolute love of the American flag I think is very obviously correlated to like extremism in terms of like nationalism. I’ve seen the American flags used as a racist symbol. You see people show up to like Trump rallies with their flags waving it, screaming in people’s faces.”

Thankfully, not every student takes this perspective. One student positively replied the first thing that comes to mind is “freedom. The American flag, it’s a representation of our values and what we are as a country.”

It’s a scary and growing trend among the next generation you need to see to believe. Check it and remember the American flag is a symbol we need to continue to cherish.
