Charles Barkley Shocks Audience – Threatens To Hurt Trump Supporters

The recent threats made by NBA star Charles Barkley against African Americans who support Donald Trump forced his CNN cohost, Gayle King, to give him a reality check.

In the latest installment of “King Charles,” King questioned Barkley over Trump’s contentious statements, which asserted that African Americans identify with his encounter with the legal system. Trump went so far as to say that people of color wear T-shirts featuring his notorious mugshot.

Barkley retorted that such individuals ought to be beaten.

“To start with, let me simply state this. “I’m going to hit a black guy in the face if I see them strolling around with Trump mugs,” he declared.

“Charles,” King said in response. “A, you don’t mean it, therefore, you really can’t say that.”

“Oh, I really mean it,” Barkley retorted.

“You will then be taken into custody for assault. And after that, what?” King checked in again.

Barkley answered, “I’m going to bail myself out and go celebrate.”

Barkley justified his threat by claiming that Trump’s comments are “an affront to all black people” because they draw parallels between “his predicament” and “black history, where we’ve been discriminated against.” Barkley countered that this is erroneous since Trump is a millionaire and is being charged with crimes related to “something he did wrong.”

King sent Barkley another fact check for that last claim.

Charles, it’s still pending before the courts. We must bide our time. Remembering that Trump is innocent unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, she informed Barkley that the matter was still pending in court.

Putting aside the veracity of Trump’s assertions, Barkley’s remark seems to reinforce a traditional Democratic Party thesis: Black voters shouldn’t back Republicans.

However, as black voters consider what the Democratic Party has achieved for them, many are beginning to wonder if they should continue to be loyal to the party. And more and more Black Americans are turning away from Democrats as they become aware that there is very little to no response to that topic.

The most recent New York Times/Siena College survey, which indicates that Trump is gaining 23% of black votes, provides all the information you need.

Black voters will have delivered President Joe Biden and Democrats a powerful message if that is how Election Day unfolds: We are sick of your hollow promises, and we are sick of being treated like less than black people if we disagree with your agenda.
