Celebs Spread Edited Video Of Trump To Push Fear

A myth circulating among Hollywood celebrities states that if former President Trump wins again in the White House, he will prohibit elections.

Their utterly baseless assertion stems from a recent speech in which the Republican presidential nominee urged Christians to vote in large numbers in November, omitting crucial background information from a 27-second video clip.

“We will rectify it, and everything will be fine in four years.” Voting will be optional for you. “You won’t have to vote again in four years,” Trump said on Friday to the attendees of Turning Point Action’s Believers’ Summit in Florida.

Celebrities misrepresented Trump’s statements to suggest that he would outright forbid elections. In reality, he was urging them to help create “a landslide that’s too big to rig” so that a future Trump administration could change election laws to remove the requirement for voter ID, which would lessen the need for high voter turnout to combat alleged voter fraud. In context, the sentence says:

“I’ll make sure our elections are safe. As I mentioned before, our objective is to eventually use voter ID, evidence of citizenship, and paper ballots for voting. (Applause) You know, when I bargain—and I always do—you know that I bargain with the Democrats on this. I said, “Look, voter ID is the first step in fixing our voting laws.” Everyone must say, “No way!” and the conversation ends there.

“It is imperative that we have voter ID. We refer to it as voter identification. No, we won’t carry it out. They do it for a single reason now due to their desire to cheat. There is just one explanation.

“You know, depending on whom, whose, and whatever chest we’re talking about, they had voter tags larger than their chests on them during their national convention.” This appeals to me more than anything else. It contains all of their information, including their middle name, previous addresses, and serial number. You won’t be able to enter the Democratic National Convention otherwise.”

“However, they oppose voter ID, which is considered one of the most essential, if not the most important, voting options available. This is due to their desire to engage in electoral fraud. However, Republicans must remain in power until that time. We must prevail in this election. The most significant election in history.”

“We’re aiming for a landslide that’s impossible to engineer. Grab your friends, family, and everyone you know, and vote—early, absentee, and on election day—if you truly want to rescue America. You have to go out and vote, I don’t care how.”

Pro-Kamala celebrities like Rob Reiner, Mia Farrow, and Barbra Streisand have been disseminating the Trump hoax to their many millions of social media followers since Friday’s address. Scott Derrickson, the director of Disney’s Doctor Strange, propagated the falsehood as well.

The once-respected Atlantic magazine also entered the fray, according to Breitbart News. In the essay, author Brian Klaas writes, “He’s telegraphing his dictatorial objectives in plain sight.”

Rob Reiner stated that Trump “point blank declared he would destroy our democracy,” which is untrue.

Speaking falsely, Mia Farrow said that Trump would remain in the White House indefinitely.

Barbra Streisand also entered the fray.

The director of the film Doctor Strange, Scott Derrickson, made the incorrect assertion that Trump “will stay in power until he dies.”

David Simon, creator of HBO’s The Wire, propagated the false information as well.

Nancy Sinatra, John Cusack, and Amber Tamblyn were among the numerous celebrities who reposted the hoax from other accounts.

Their obvious subterfuge is part of the deep state’s ongoing campaign to paint Trump as an enemy of democracy and hide from voters the fact that Democratic elites recently carried out a soft coup against President Joe Biden, dissolved their own presidential primary, and nominated Vice President Kamala Harris to the party’s presidential ticket without receiving a single vote.
