As we previously reported, restaurants with coal and wood-fired pizza ovens are now being targeted by new draft regulations from the New York City Dept. of Environmental Protection, which demand that they install pricey emission control devices to reduce carbon emissions by 75% in the name of battling climate change. Even Elon Musk criticized it, saying, “This is complete bs. There will be no change in the rate of climate change.”
One of the most recognizable things in the city is also NYC pizza, therefore this might have a significant effect on those businesses. If they have to choose whether or not they can afford to abide by this absurd requirement, it’s going to put some of these establishments in serious financial binds and it’s likely to ruin some of them. For what reason? Because altering the pizza ovens in NYC in this way will affect climate change? It is absurd.
One man’s colorful attempt to make his point has now gone viral. In order to send a message to those in City Hall, Scott LoBaido—who identifies as “a Patriot- Artist-Activist” on Twitter—decided to host his own “New York Pizza Party.” He held the gathering just in front of the police booth, which is usually present to guard the structure, right outside the gates. LoBaido was direct in his speech. When city leaders are focused on this sort of stuff, he criticized their priorities.
“The woke-ass fools in charge of this city are doing all they can to ruin it. Yesterday, during the Pride events, we saw guys with no clothes on dancing in front of kids all throughout the city. We have the highest rate of violent and raging crime ever. Our nation is being overrun by illegal immigrants, that are treated far better than our educators, emergency response heroes, and homeless veterans who were sacked for refusing the Fauci injection and are still waiting for compensation.”
LoBaido criticized the local officials for being “afraid of pizza?” as he discussed how the public schools were failing children.
According to LoBaido, “People around the globe used to respect the people of New York as tough, thick-skinned, as well as gritty.” He, therefore, organized this “New York Pizza Party.” The phrase “Give us pizza or just give us death” screams, LoBaido. He then began throwing slices of pizza across the City Hall gates.
In the end, he was stopped by the police, who then summoned him for what he had done.

Ironically, although the nude individuals around the Pride celebration were merely tolerated by the city, he received a summons for throwing the pizza. Given that it was a summons, LoBaido most likely received more punishment than any other violent criminal in the city considering that it was New York City. The majority of people on social media applauded his action, however, some lamented the pizza’s unfortunate destiny since they would have wanted to have eaten it.
