Washington Post said this Sunday, Jeff Zients, who led the White House’s reaction to the Chinese coronavirus, will be named president Joe Biden’s chief of staff. He will take Ron Klain’s place, who is expected to be leaving the government in the coming weeks.
Notably, Biden, who wanted to increase the “diversity” in his admin., has chosen Zients to be his chief of staff while ignoring the rest of his diverse team, including Susan Rice, who is black, and Anita Dunn, a top female adviser.
Zients was the face of all the video call coronavirus briefings throughout his tenure in the Biden admin., as Breitbart News has documented, and he coordinated the White House’s coronavirus response with Dr. Anthony Fauci as well as Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the CDC.
