Biden Makes A New Promise To Climate Extremists

On Sunday, President Joe Biden assured a climate activist that he wouldn’t approve additional drilling in the United States, only days after complaining that oil firms are not drilling enough.

“No further drilling. There will be no more drilling,” Biden remarked to a climate activist after wrapping up a rally in NY for Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY). “No new drilling has been formed.”

A teenage woman in the front row held a banner criticizing Biden for permitting drilling on government land.

The activist replied to Biden by stating that offshore drilling continues in the Antarctic and off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

“That was before I became president,” Biden explained. “We’re working on it – we’re attempting to finish it.”

Biden’s remarks to the climate activist were in contrast to his speech on Wednesday, in which he criticized oil firms for not drilling enough.

“We have not slowed them down in the least. They should really be drilling much more than they are,” he stated during a rally in New Mexico. “If they drilled more, there would be more relief at the pump.”

As Biden stood beside Hochul and extended his arms, he asked his staff for the woman’s name.

He then approached her and talked to her for a few minutes, probably regarding his climate policy, before moving on to the rest of the audience.

Protesters were taken to the audience twice more during Biden’s event in New York.

Some of his fans chanted to drown out the demonstrators, but the president cut them off.

“We adore Joe! We adore Joe!” they exclaimed.

“All right, let Joe talk, okay?” Biden responded.

The president is standing behind Hochul as polls are showing Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) gaining support due to his positions on matters such as crime.
