Biden Celebrates The Stock Market Collapse

Democrats on Tuesday gathered on the South Lawn to celebrate the “Inflation Reduction Act,” and the White House asked folk artist James Taylor to perform.

The elderly folk singer entertained the throng of Dems on the South Lawn with “Fire & Rain” as they celebrated Biden’s green energy multibillion-dollar expenditure measure that was passed under the pretense of a “inflation control” law.

After finishing his song, Taylor declared, “This is the time that the world needs to work more than it ever has before, probably more so than at any time since the Second World War, to address the climate catastrophe.”

“I believe that people should view it as a tremendous opportunity to unite in order to safeguard our homes and to appreciate the particularity of our incredible good fortune in being able to live on this planet,” he concluded.

Taylor brought his wife Kim Taylor to the platform to join him in singing “America the Beautiful” and a lullaby that they always use to sing to their kids.

In response to data revealing that inflation continued to grow in August, the stock market was continuing to decline while James Taylor performed, with the Dow Jones dropping over 1,000 points.

James Taylor’s voice, according to Biden, “heals our soul and connects the nation,” as he expressed gratitude to the folk singers for their performance.

Since his initial appearance in 2015 in Paris to perform “You’ve Got a Friend” with then-Sec. of State John Kerry, Taylor has not performed at a significant political event.
