Joe Biden’s attempt to address the horrific New Year’s Day terror attack in New Orleans was another embarrassing display of weak leadership. While the country needed a strong, decisive response, what we got instead was a rambling statement filled with vague platitudes and zero solutions.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old radicalized former U.S. Army soldier, unleashed terror on innocent revelers in the French Quarter, mowing down at least ten people and injuring dozens more. According to Biden, Jabbar had posted pro-ISIS propaganda online just hours before the attack, signaling his allegiance to the terrorist organization. The rented truck he used in the massacre was found with an ISIS flag and explosive devices, and additional explosives were discovered nearby. Yet, despite all this, Biden’s response lacked the kind of urgency and strength Americans expect from their commander-in-chief.
And let’s not forget Biden’s obligatory nod to the Las Vegas explosion outside the Trump International Hotel, where an electric vehicle detonated. As usual, he provided no details and no plan—just more empty words. Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating both incidents as possible terrorist acts, but under this administration, the American people can’t trust that justice will be served. Biden’s track record speaks for itself: more focus on pandering to woke ideologies than on tackling real threats.
Compare this with President-elect Donald Trump, who has consistently called for stronger national security measures and accountability. Trump understands the stakes and won’t tolerate appeasement or half-measures when it comes to protecting Americans. His return to office is a beacon of hope for a nation desperate for leadership that actually prioritizes safety over political correctness.
The truth is, Biden’s floundering response to these attacks underscores why the Democrats are unfit to lead. They’re more concerned with keeping their woke base happy than addressing the growing threats to our nation. It’s time to put America first again—and that means embracing the strong, no-nonsense policies of President Trump.
