Arizona Veteran Shocked at Man Trying to Burn Flag Outside His Home

U.S. Army veteran Adam Douglas told “Fox & Friends” he was “disgusted” by what he saw on his home security camera as a person attempted to burn the American flag outside his home.

During the Fox News interview, Douglas saw a Memorial Day attempt to light his flag on fire. His thoughts?

First, he did not know the person. He said, “I was shocked and disgusted.”

He added, “I had never seen them before.”

Being a veteran, Douglas said this was a disgrace that someone would attempt arson leading into Memorial Day weekend. This wasn’t just a disgrace to the flag, but could have damaged his home.

“I was concerned my house could have caught on fire a well,” Douglas said.

It was unclear from the video whether the culprit was male or female.

One co-host said, “We need to replace this flag with a bigger one.”

He’s right. No backing down when people who hate their own country seek to disgrace it by destroying a flag. This man served in the Middle East to protect our freedoms.

The least we can do is show some respect. Watch the video and then remember, America can do better. It MUST do better.
