Polling data reflects increasing voter unease about Biden’s age. Even figures like David Axelrod, a former advisor to President Obama, have publicly questioned the prudence of Biden seeking reelection.
In contrast, former President Donald Trump, aged 77 and leading in the GOP race for 2024, hasn’t attracted similar levels of concern regarding his age. Trump recently circulated a health report from his doctor, highlighting his robust health, coinciding with Biden’s 81st birthday.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has downplayed internal worries about Biden’s age and health impacting his election chances.
