Watch: Biden Snaps At Reporter For Asking This “Stupid” Question

During a recent interaction with a reporter in Nantucket, Massachusetts, President Joe Biden tersely dismissed a question about his age’s impact on his potential 2024 reelection bid. When queried, “Mr. President, are you too old to be running for re-election?” Biden retorted, “That’s stupid,” showcasing a dismissive attitude, as featured in a “Fox News Sunday” segment.

Biden, who celebrated his 81st birthday recently, has been subject to growing scrutiny regarding his age and capability to serve a second term. His frequent verbal gaffes and public instances of physical unsteadiness have amplified these concerns.

Polling data reflects increasing voter unease about Biden’s age. Even figures like David Axelrod, a former advisor to President Obama, have publicly questioned the prudence of Biden seeking reelection.

In contrast, former President Donald Trump, aged 77 and leading in the GOP race for 2024, hasn’t attracted similar levels of concern regarding his age. Trump recently circulated a health report from his doctor, highlighting his robust health, coinciding with Biden’s 81st birthday.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has downplayed internal worries about Biden’s age and health impacting his election chances. A health summary released by the White House in February described Biden as “healthy,” “vigorous,” and “fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency,” despite Biden receiving treatment for various health issues.

Republican critics, including Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), a former White House physician, have urged Biden to undergo cognitive testing or not run in 2024. Jackson, during a Fox News interview, expressed doubts about Biden’s capacity to fulfill presidential responsibilities effectively.
